Returning to Waddesdon Manor for its 8th year, but first time for us, Colourscape was the best start of our family half term fun.
You might like to save this if you’re still looking for ideas on how to entertain the little ones – Lucas & Amelie looooved it and want to go back soon, Philip needed a bit of convincing but once we immersed ourselves into this endless labyrinth of intense light, colour, space and unusual music in 56 interlinked chambers, he changed his mind.
That and a few tantrums later – mine included- and we can call it a day, I’m shattered now but I guess we made memories while enjoying a bit of slow living so truly grateful I got to spend the day with my three bonkers kiddies. We’re officially navigating three very interesting age stages at the same time.
Tickets are £6 per adult and £4 per child 28th of May – 5th June, save this if you’re around Bucks anytime soon 😇 {press visit}
What I love most about this place though, is that at every corner there’s something new to explore. The gardens and the stunning seasonal flowers you’d find here, the house which is a trip back in time, the playground in the woods, the majestic fountains surrounded by beds of roses or tulips, the ice cream! I wouldn’t even know where to start, so today I’ll just share a few pixels from the beautiful Aviary and fountain.
A great excuse to take our new Lorna Murray hats ;)) Every five minutes they got a compliment from people passing by.
Who do you think is wearing it better? Amelie or her thief of a brother? Hehe
