Hacks? Apologies, I meant hack. Because there’s only one recipe for success in order to avoid 3 oven burnt parsnips batches and the uncomfortable smiles on your ‘too nice to tell you the truth about your clumsy cooking skills’ in-laws: the

Hello Fresh Easter box.

I had the chance to test the end result of a few good months of hard work from the busy team of Hello Fresh at the Fresh Farm headquarters: a scrumptious three-course Easter feast that was by all means one of the most gratifying experiences I recently had. On one hand I wouldn’t want to add too many spoilers to the surprise you may have if you order the box, yet the idea that I could put this all together all by myself is rather gripping! The presentation of all Chermoula Prawns with Pomegranate starter, the Aromatic Leg of Lamb main course and the selection of lovely sides seemed to exceed everyone’s expectations, yet for my sweet tooth the climax was the Apple and Rhubarb Crumble which was beyond sublime, all flavours present: the sweetness and sourness – all too well balanced.

The full Easter menu includes all recipes for the three courses broken down into manageable, easy to follow sections designed to make Easter cooking fun and stress-free. The HelloFresh Chefs have also included some super handy kitchen tips and tricks to take all the hassle out of the prep and planning, giving everyone more time to kick back and have a little fun this Easter. With all the ingredients already measured out and easy-to-follow recipes giving you modern twists on Easter classics, say bye-bye to menu-planning and shopping and hello to your easiest and tastiest Easter feast yet.

HelloFresh Easter Box Menu:

What’s more, the Easter feasting doesn’t stop when the meal is over! The HelloFresh Easter Bunny has been busy filling its basket with a wonderful collection of treats for Easter Box customers including Lindt chocolate, Propercorn, Hoots Snacks, Pukka Tea and Sweet Freedom, as well as an Easter-themed cocktail recipe from Cawston Press.

If you like the sound of HelloFresh’s Easter box, you’ll be pleased to know that there are more speciality boxes planned for release this year, including a Roast Box, a BBQ Box and a Christmas Box.

Save yourself the endless shopping trips to the supermarket; if you are a mum like me, there’s an extra reason why you should go for it and make Easter mission possible around crawling babies and moody toddlers…

Princess & Ko Terrarium workshop

Just before getting to know better the Easter box content (by eating it!), Hello Fresh organised a very cool workshop with the lovely Dawid and Elias, co-founders of lovely flower business Princess and Ko. So, here you have it…One extra hack to help you nail Easter!

The energy these guys had during the workshop was contagious, and their attention to details pretty inspiring, teaching everyone of us how to scoop nicely into compost and mix flower details inside a fishbowl (yes, fishbowls, you’ll see lots of them below!). We’ve created our own Easter masterpiece which will definitely become a great touch to our Easter table set up – next to all the Hello Fresh goodies above.

So, yes, we’re all ready for you, Easter bunny!

Thanks Asos Maternity for my lovely shirt, the bump felt rather chirpy in it x
