There’s no doubt this is one of my favourite spots in London!

The history behind each room, the tastefully decorated interiors, the most welcoming stuff, the perfect presentation of each dish and each drink are all reasons to make me return over and over again. This is the one place where I take everyone visiting us in London (best excuse to dress up and make the most of my day really!)

Did you know that the very afternoon tea tradition started at The Langham, London? Not to mention that they have been awarded ‘Best Afternoon Tea Service 2018’ which doesn’t surprise me at all.

Here’s why, to me, this is THE best high tea experience for children in London…

First of all I am so delighted the hotel has created a menu experience for the younger foodies as well so high tea wouldn’t feel much of a restriction for families with small children anymore. This wasn’t my first time taking my little ones for high tea at The Langham, London. Yet this time the experience has been a bit more special as they’re collaborating with Daunt Books.

My almost 6 year old Lucas was absolutely thrilled about being able to enjoy a very creative menu while he got to choose his own book to read and take home. Each child can select their own new book from a specially curated library before they get amazed by colourful plates of mouth watering treats.

The entire tea experience has been designed to be interactive for the little ones: the first course is made up of savoury jigsaw puzzle sandwiches, followed by an eye feast even for the adults who are enjoying their own sophisticated plates and delightful tea – The Langham’s contemporary take on afternoon tea, SeasonaliTea.

And the scones are to die for!!

The relaxing atmosphere is completed by the pianist in the Palm Court, what a delight!

There is another reason for which my other half was so impressed with the experience. The Langham, London can deal with most allergies or intolerances and as he is on a diary free diet, he thought the menu would be quite restricted and he wouldn’t have too many options to enjoy. How wrong was he! The gorgeous vegan scones and dairy free menu options were absolutely beautiful.

Children’s Afternoon Tea with Daunt Books is available every day from 12:00 noon until 5:30 pm and costs £29.50 per child, while adults’ afternoon tea costs £62.00 per person.

I’ll leave you now with a few more pixels from our lovely afternoon at The Langham, London, if you haven’t been here already, I highly recommend it! Take your littles and make the most of a beautiful, memorable experience in one of the top London luxury hotels.

*On this occasion this experience was gifted in exchange for an honest review.

Always thrilled to be back here!
