Every leaf speaks bliss to me…

…Fluttering from the autumn tree…

From one of my very favourite writers, Emily Bronte, in one of my favourite London spots – Richmond Park…

Christmas is now just around the corner and I’m awfully late sharing these fall pixels by Anna Pawleta.

In our constant chase of seasonal delights, we ended up in Richmond Park where ferns, deer and rusty coloured trees welcomed Anna’s lens and for the first time, our 3 weeks old Amelie. The shoot was quick, the toddler was hyper, the ferns were friendly and the baby was blissfully dosing off during the session. For a change, my other half Justin @alldadstalk has been more patient than ever despite the endless noisy chestnuts falling down from the trees, some hitting us when we expected the least.

Yet lately p I kept thinking how each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children and we hardly realise.p it. What will they remember? Mummy constantly being on her phone? Staring in a computer’s screen? Complaining about how mopping the floors every now and then is the hardest task in the universe? Working from home may be harder than I thought, I got this feeling when I realised that yes, it’s true, I have more flexibility, I’m physically more present for the kids, but as the mind is wandering a lot on filling social calendars, running work campaigns or sending emails, am I really present? What will they remember…

Then I get the photo albums and I watch us together. Worries seem to gradually fade again…
