It’s been almost a month since I’ve become a proud mother of two and I must admit, the journey has been quite an exciting rollercoaster ever since. Juggling early babyhood and toddlerhood may not always be the smoothest ride, but it definitely has its perks – not talking about sleepless nights, midnight feeds, sore nipples, postpartum pains and constant exhaustion, but the satisfaction of watching two tiny humans bond over my regular cup of cold tea.
Yet new family additions require reliable and (hopefully fun too) gear to try out and where’s the best place to do this if not at the playground? Because this is a huge part of their childhood, we thought the toddler must be the one to introduce his little sister to our park life. Because Diono has recently launched in the UK and their travel system is simply clever, we thought we should take the buggy out for a ride. I got Justin at AllDadsTalk to share his honest views on it, too. And boy, wasn’t he impressed…
One of the buggy’s many key features is the convertible 3-in-1 smart seat. The innovative design enables the carriage to be transformed to a toddler seat by simply connecting 4 clips, therefore we both agree the all-in-one piece is indeed both clever and convenient, all you neef from birth to toddler solution.
One of my top favourite features remains the XL eclipse hood. Best in class four tier, eclipse canopy to protect against the elements, with a peek-a-boo window, ventilation panel and pull down sun visor.
Whatever the weather, Diono literally has it covered. The buggy is also car seat compatible with adaptors included.
Nonetheless, one more thing that mums will love is the XL basket underneath. Hello, busy shopping days! The extra large basket literally has space for a cabin sized luggage bag. Plus, whatever mode the stroller is in, there is always a space to access it. There’s lots of other features the buggy comes with, here is a shirt list with the main ones that both Justin and I found useful:

• XL seat for tall children
• Reversible seat liner, apron and raincover included
• One-step brake. Parents can say goodbye to scuffed and sore toes with our unique one step brake. A simple step on, step off movement is all that’s needed. Perfectly flip-flop friendly!
• One-hand fold. Unique geared operation works in two stages and features an automatic locking clip to ensure transporting the stroller with a little one in tow is manageable.
• 6-position handle bar
To complete the new buggy experience, we both must thank Ju-Ju-Be for the lovely smart mum’s and dad’s changing bags. The Tokidoki design has definitely added a splash of colour to my wardrobe!
