Breastfeeding has been a huge part of my journey as a mum, and it’s been such a special bond with each of my 3 little ones. So here I am, always up for any baby feeding chat!!
On this occasion I’m thrilled to be reviewing the Tommee Tippee Made for Me double breast pump, it’s part of the beautiful The Boob Life campaign that I’ve watched from the very beginning and I’m sure you reading this came across it at some point!
As a first time mum it can often be rather puzzling trying to find your way through what you need and what you don’t when it comes to baby gear, but when that first mum becomes a mum of 3 things can get even more interesting. The reason I’m saying this is because I feel that previous knowledge and research makes me a bit more picky about baby buys.
For example, I wouldn’t invest in a buggy now unless it ticked lots of boxes on a long list of expectations, and the same applies for so would a breast pump.
I used the Tommee Tippee pump for the past couple of weeks and I love how silent it is. All you need to do is charge it up, and pump away using the 5 massage and 9 express modes to find the one that’s right for you. What best is that with the MassageTec cups, made of soft, cushioned silicone that’s gentle on your breasts, this pump provides a comfortable way to mimic your baby’s latch-on and stimulate milk flow. But can’t stress enough how much I love the fact that it’s so silent as I can work or express when the baby is sleeping.
You get 90 minutes of power while being sleek and easy to carry around! This makes such a difference compared to my old breast pump. Thé pump is powered by a lightweight, slimline USB rechargeable power unit, giving 90 minutes of cord-free pump time.
You can read more here, but I have to mention the Timer which is great as the LED screen lets you see how long you’ve been expressing for.
Also great when it comes to backflow – the hygienic closed system makes sure breast milk only goes into the bottle, not into the air tube or pump so every drop of breast milk is collected
It’s BPA/BPS free, so safe for baby and mum.
Have you used a breast pump? Is expressing part of your baby feeding journey? Let me know your thoughts or if you have any questions, you can always add a comment here or drop me a DM on Instagram.
