Mother of three, Angela Ahrendts is an American businesswoman and the senior vice president, retail and online stores at Apple Inc. She was the CEO of Burberry from 2006 to 2014. Ahrendts left Burberry to join Apple in 2014 and was ranked 49th in Forbes’ 2014 list of the most powerful women in the world, 9th most powerful woman in the U.K. in the BBC Radio 4 Woman’s Hour 100 Power List and 29th in Fortune’s 2014 list of the world’s most powerful women in business.
2. Tory Burch
Mother to three boys and three step-daughters, Tory Burch is an American fashion designer, business woman and philanthropist. Not many know that for the first couple of years Tory actually started to work from her apartment before becoming the successful figure we see today. Today she is listed as the 73rd most powerful woman in the world by Forbes. What’s also worth mentioning is that Burch is also in charge of an independent foundation called the ‘Tory Burch Foundation’ which is a project dedicated to the single mothers from different communities, for them to learn about entrepreneurship and increasing their chances for a better life.

While being a mum of two and a fierce American business executive, Meg has also become a strong political figure. During her 10 years with the eBay, Meg oversaw the company’s expansion from 30 employees and $4 million in annual revenue to more than 15,000 employees and $8 billion in annual revenue. Mother of one, Marissa Ann Mayer is the current president and CEO of Yahoo!, a position she has held since July 2012. Previously, she was a long-time executive, usability leader, and key spokesperson for Google. In 2014, Mayer was ranked sixth on Fortune ’s 40 under 40 list and was ranked the 16th most-powerful businesswoman in the world that year according to the same publication.
5. Mary Barra

Also mother of one, Mary Teresa Barra is the Chief Executive Officer of General Motors. Mary has held the position since beginning of 2014 and she is the first female CEO of a major global automaker. In April 2014, Barra was featured on the cover of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in the World.
