The ultimate baby changing bag. PacaPod competition

When one joins this wonderful rollercoaster called parenthood, the volume of information on what you should buy/avoid, use/not use, love/dismiss etc can easily become overwhelming. With my first child, I made a few mistakes I tried to learn as much as possible from. For example, with my second child, it was a no brainer to choose quality over quantity and build upon some of my previous best decisions while experimenting less.

Nonetheless, if we’re talking quality, then PacaPod must be on the very top of a new mama essentials buying list. I must admit, I went for a few baby bags when I had my first child, from the backpack type to jazzy coloured ones but never really took into consideration the practical side of a good bag. Enters PacaPod, the cleaverly designed bag with pods for a parent’s ultimate organisation.

Truth is I was already sold when my husband Justin @alldadstalk had reviewed the Gradstone bag, one of the changing bags especially designed for dads  (I got to often borrow it myself, you can read it all here). One of the greatest features of the bag is that it comes with a Feeder Pod meant to keep food and bottles insulated, which, as my husband had mentioned, we don’t make much use of, not because it’s not a great feature, but because we’re not using any bottles for the baby. Yet. However, I’m using it on its own and it’s brilliant for holidays. The second pod called Changer Pod is great for changing rooms when dining out for example, as you have everything in one place without having to check five pockets for the nappy cream. Keeping the two hygienically apart is one of the best features I find great about the PacaPod.

As per Anna‘s photos below, I have chosen the 3 in 1 changing bag called Madison, which has a great 1960s look to it. I fell in love at first sight. The soft leather has that premium look and feel, and I love the modern cargo pockets where I hide lots of my own essentials like a lipstick, phone or even wallet or the occasional baby food pouch. The bag is extremely spacious, and always loaded with nappies, wipes, muslins, and baby outfits. The tan colour is also easy to wear with most of my outfits and it’s my first choice when I go to events. It fits well on the buggy too.
