So, cool mums with super kids, be honest, have you been naughty or nice this year? And how many sleeps until Christmas? Because if you start counting, it becomes quite scary considering Santa is just around the corner…Ho Ho Ho…

Hi, I’m Ally, the mum behind Allmumstalk project (as you pretty much must have figured it out already) and this is a very special invite to a fun memorable Christmas Fair that hopefully will change a few lives down the road. It is the second charity event I fully support (after our cool Halloween photoshoot event) and I hope you will too join me again in creating some magic this Christmas. The ticket is just £5.00 and you can book it here or £20.00 if you wish to attend the preview evening.

Let’s recap. On the 18th November you can find me at the exclusive preview evening where you can peruse some gorgeous festive stalls whilst enjoying a glass of wine and delicious canapes. The day after, join us for a unique shopping experience, here will be 40 specially chosen stalls selling everything you need for a perfect British Christmas. Grab a cool luscious lunch, bring your friends and pick up fabulous gifts and treats; a wonderful range British made presents, festive decorations, luxury clothing, gourmet food and drinks awaits.

The Christmas Market is being held at the historic Fulham Palace near Putney Bridge Tube Station.

Before you book your ticket, have a read about how Operation Smile changes children’s life…

Who is behind Operation Smile?

‘Operation Smile is an international children’s medical charity, working with a team of dedicated medical volunteers who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate. We measure ourselves by the joy we see on all of the faces we help around the world.

As one of the most prominent children’s charities in the world – known by many as ‘the smile charity’ – and with a presence in over 60 countries, Operation Smile is able to heal children’s smiles and bring hope for a better future.

More than 200,000 children are born with a severe cleft condition every year — often unable to eat, speak, socialise or smile. Too often, these children are rejected by the people around them, afraid to go to school and ostracised by their communities. In many cases, parents simply can’t afford to give their children the surgery they desperately need.

In the UK, thanks to the NHS, a baby’s cleft lip or palate will be repaired in the first year of its life. However in some developing countries cleft lip and cleft palate surgery is either too expensive or may not even be available. That’s where Operation Smile comes in, providing much-needed surgical services. Since 1982, Operation Smile – with the help of over 5,000 dedicated medical volunteers – has provided over 200,000 free surgical procedures to children and young adults around the world, giving each one a new start in life.

Operation Smile goes to great lengths to ensure that every patient we treat receives the highest standard of care every time, providing access to free dental care, speech therapy and counselling where needed.

We believe that all children deserve to live their lives with dignity and for those born with a cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformity, dignity begins with a smile’.

Mission Statement

Operation Smile mobilises a world of generous hearts to heal children’s smiles and transform lives across the globe.

How We Work

Operation Smile is the children’s charity that works to transform the lives of children who suffer from cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities. Our philosophy is simple: change a child’s life forever through an operation that can take just 45 minutes and costs around £150.

Our approach to solving the problem globally leaves a lasting legacy of training, skills and medical equipment around the world. International medical volunteers and projects allow us to not only carry out free reconstructive cleft lip and cleft palate surgery, but also to develop self-sustaining networks throughout the world. Local care centres provide yet more opportunities for children to be treated as well as year-round care and more in-country educational opportunities for local medical staff.

Corporate and VIP packages

There are also great opportunities for your company or organisation to be involved with the Best of British Christmas Fair, either as a sponsor, by attending as a Corporate Donor or coming along with colleagues for a Christmas treat. For further details, email events@operationsmile.org.uk or call 020 3475 5126

Allmumstalk will be there. See you at the Fair!
